We want to ensure that the Mental Health in Journalism Summit is open to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances

This event is co-funded by the Fred Foundation, along with the generous support of our sponsors. However, organizing this major event requires considerable resources. To keep the Summit accessible to all media professionals—including those from underrepresented regions—we’ve introduced a range of ticket options that reflect different financial realities.

The Summit will feature two days of sessions in English (October 9-10) and one full day dedicated exclusively to sessions in Spanish (October 8). Your support helps sustain this global event, enabling us to continue providing essential resources and content for journalists worldwide.

Here are the five ticket tiers for the Summit to attend the event live:

This ticket covers the true cost of the three days of the Summit, supporting technology, coordination and logistics. Ideal for those with full professional budgets.

A partially supported ticket ideal for journalists from smaller newsrooms or limited budgets, contributing to Summit sustainability.

Supports inclusivity, ideal for freelancers or those needing financial assistance, ensuring broad community participation.

Este ticket cubre el coste de participación únicamente en el día de sesiones en español, el 8 de octubre. Ideal para quienes prefieren o solo hablan español.

We recognize that many journalists, particularly from the Global South or those facing financial hardship, may not be able to attend without support. If you would not otherwise be able to join us, please select this option.

How to Choose Your Ticket:

All the tickets will give you access to the three days of live sessions. We trust that you’ll select the ticket that best fits your circumstances. If your organization has already set its budget and you need a more affordable option, choose the subsidized or Community-supported ticket at $0. If you have the means and want to contribute to the sustainability of the Summit, we encourage you to select the Standard ticket.

We want to ensure that all journalists, regardless of their financial capacity or location, can join us in addressing the urgent mental health challenges within the industry. Thank you for your support, and we look forward to your participation!

If you have any questions about ticket pricing, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

MHJS24 speaker

An industry wide discussion on mental health in journalism is as important as the ones we have on AI and climate change. Let’s start this conversation before the challenge becomes a crisis.

You are building tools for resilience and recovery and nurturing a community of practice that -I am certain- has a ripple effect on how we address and de-stigmatize mental health in different workspaces beyond journalism. I am inspired, energized, and called into action by the generosity and care you’ve put into this.
