The Self-Investigation is a participatory program that aims to support participants to strengthen their resilience. Our team is committed to providing a vibrant learning environment, welcoming people from as many diverse backgrounds as possible. We intend all our events to be a respectful and harassment-free environment for people of all races, gender and trans statuses, sexual orientation, ability, nationality, ethnicity, socioeconomic status and beliefs.
In that spirit, all those organizing, participating and attending The Self-Investigation events are expected to:
- Be considerate in speech and actions, and actively seek to acknowledge and respect the boundaries of fellow attendees.
- Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech. Harassment includes, but is not limited to: deliberate intimidation; stalking; unwanted photography or recording; sustained or willful disruption of talks or other events; use of sexual or discriminatory imagery, comments, or jokes; and unwelcome sexual attention.
- Take care of each other. Alert a member of The Self-Investigation team if you notice violations of this code of conduct, even if they seem inconsequential.
- Take care of yourself. Respect your personal boundaries. You are free to choose not to engage in an activity that makes you feel unsafe or takes you beyond your personal comfort zone.
If any participant violates this code of conduct, The Self-Investigation may take any lawful action we deem appropriate. This code of conduct covers all of The Self-Investigation activities. If you feel that someone has harassed you or otherwise treated you inappropriately or wish to make any reports after the event, please alert The Self-Investigation team by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
